This is a great product. First of all, anyone running Windows 95 still ought to look to the 1990’s and get with the times! Update already! Secondly, if you have too much on your C: drive, get another hard drive. They’re not that expensive, you cheapskate! Thirdly, your antivirus software WILL allow you to put C-Dilla on. It is spyware, to an extent. If you don’t like that idea, don’t get this product.
Overall, it works very well and I highly recommend it.

I have a business and this version of Turbo just nailed everything perfectly. Just waiting for the updates before I file. Used Taxcut this year and resold it on ebay, becuase it’s so junky – imports, confusing interview questions, state download crapped out, etc. I saw complaints about spyware, but they got rid of it (or don’t you guys bother reading or looking over the installation?) Ain’t no stinkin’ spyware this year! Hooray, Turbo! I guess I need to follow instructions on my rebate, tho, from what I’ve read. Dunno about their support, but Taxjunk’s support last year was horrible!

I haven’t purchased TT deluxe ‘03 yet. However I think there some misleading and/or incorrect user reviews on this product.
- Schedule D is in fact included in the Deluxe version. I placed two web “chat” calls and both reps said it was included. I don’t know to what extent it is integrated into the Interview process (or what the other reviewer’s problems were)…
- web “chat” calls: I had good experiences placing chat calls on two different days (noon EDT).
- regarding the ability to import other product data & other “problems”: yes, if TT claims it can import these files then they should fix this. But if TT is such a bad product why are you switching? Advertisements while you’re using the product — so what? Does it really interfere w/ your ability to use the product?

Didn’t for me. In fact, when I called Kip about TTax files not importing, they immediately just gave me my money back without even attempting to fix it.

The last version of TurboTax I actually owned and used was either 1999 or 2000. When I tried to install the year that followed, the installation failed because my home PC software was too old. TaxCut, on the other hand, didn’t care, so I’ve been using TaxCut on my Windows 95 – Internet Explorer 4.0 system ever since. If your system is more current than mine, TurboTax may suit you perfectly.
