I cannot seem to review my latest transactions in Quicken 2007.

In the Cash flow tab i have a negative balance in my bank account, but when I go to one step summary my account say I have a positive balance. Can anyone help me with this?

im looking from accounting job and most of them require knowing quicken or quickbook ( i am a college student). now i believe they both are same and if i learn one ill know the other one but i wana make sure if they are same or is there any difference ? thanks.

I am running pension plan on quicken 2005. Cash distribution to an employee shows as a reduction in cash on the balance sheet in an expense called distribution on the P&L. How do you record the transaction when distribution is in stock to get it out of the the stockhouse and on to the P&L as a distribution. if I simply remove the stock from the stockhouse, How do I get an offsetting entry on the P&L?

For example, It’s January and you have a diamond necklace you want to buy costing $1,200. You want it paid of by july, that’s seven months, and you want to pay toward it every two weeks, whats the best way to do that in quicken?

My friend uses Quicken, and I want to know if Turbo Tax will be a better alternative.

I am new to Quicken and am wondering how I can have Quicken 2006 keep up with my bank checking account. I have read forums etc, but am still confused. If my bank is not listed as one of “quickens online banks” do I need to download the info. myself from the bank? If so how? Or do I have to enter in each transaction daily? If so then the programs pointless.
