The 1998 PC game of NFL Blitz is similar to the arcade edition, though it contains many slight upgrades. There is a two-player mode implemented, as well as improved graphics that feature more detailed character models and several new moves. This game is great for anybody that loves football but doesn’t want to get bogged down with all of the rules. The game was ported to the PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color later on in the year. When NFL Blitz was released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998, it was referred to as “the best football game ever made” by GameSpot.
