I don’t know about you people, but one day I noticed, that my computer is becoming slower and slower with every day. At the start I reinstalled Windows and erased my hard drive each time I experienced it went too slow. Only with time I did a research to pick up, that there are easier ways. There indeed are a couple of effortless things that I could do to speeded up my computer.
Here they are:
- Clean up Windows Registry. Making clean Windows registry can get your computer up to 50% speedier!
- Get rid of what software programs you don’t require. Your computer comes in to you with very much of pre-installed test software packages, most of which you don’t need. Get rid of it.
- Remove fancy visual effects.
Cleaning up registry
When I was testing registry cleaners, I found a problem – some of them simply broke my Windows, or made it work improperly. Later – when I was making my website, dedicated to raising Windows speed, I organised special test, to which I submitted 41 different registry cleaners. I utilized the registry cleaners at their best level, and than observed the resulting impact on my personal computer. It turned out, that only 7 of those registry cleaners are of any use, and by that, I mean, that they do not damage your Windows, and that they give you large (surpassing one or two percent) speed boost.
Based on my tests, I gave voice to a couple of recommendations for you to deliberate, when seeking a dependable registry cleaners:
- Use exclusively popular registry cleaners. As I’ve found out, there are utter reasons, why virtually all registry cleaners aren’t popular
- Always back up your PC before trying a fresh registry cleaner. It turns out, that for each computer, Windows registry is unique. What works on one computer, may not run right on some other. This implies – what worked for your friend, may not work for you! You should always test registry cleaner on different mashines to determine , if it is any good.
Deinstalling software systems
Occasionally PC software system simply denies to get deinstalled, or there are uninstallation computer errors etc. This problem can be actually solved. There are several various software packages, which can help you completely deinstalle software from your computer.
Visual effects
So far, each Windows operating system – leaveing off, may be, Windows 7, arrived with fancier and fancier visual effects, which make your computer slower. You should know, that those effects can be disabled. And – if you choose to do so, your operating system may begin working significantly quicker. Of course, it depends on your tastes. I know, that working on a fine looking Windows feels easier than working on a Windows with all visual effects stripped down. Some of my friends opt to work with Windows 2000-like user interface, in Windows XP though, but by and large that’s too extreme. Great news is, that you can have a lot of speed advantage by disabling some very fancy but barely visible visual effects in Windows.
