Quicken Home Inventory Manager for PCFor any homeowner, this program is a must have!! Often we either under-estimate or over-estimate the value of our homeowner’s insurance policy because we don’t have a good recordkeeping for our home inventory. Finally, this program will allow you to keep an accurate inventory and its value of everything you own for your homeowner’s insurance. This program allows you to import digital photos as well as write up a description of your prize possessions. A plus is that this fantastic program is easy to use. I highly recommend this program to anyone who have a homeowner’s insurance policy.

I am unhappy that Quicken Home Inventory Manager does not allow me to input my inventory from an Excel work sheet. Besides that the program is fine, but in order to use it I would have to type in over 1,500 individual items rather that just import them. Not good!

This product does not work on Windows 7. Wish it would or I wish they would release a web based subscription version of this. I would pay a monthly fee to have online access to my data. Would be nice to be able to have an Iphone App too!!

Does not work on Vista 64-bit, it crashes. Works on XP but is sloooow and not very intuitive. Been a actively using Quicken since mid-90s and lately I’ve been very disappointed by Intuit’s software quality and customer service (e.g. not responding to e-mails and submissions on their website). Can someone recommend a decent home inventory manager?

It will work on a 64bit Windows 7 Operating System because I have it up and running. You need Windows 7 Professional and then down load the Virtual Machine and load both the Quicken & Quicken Home Inventory on the Virtual Machine and Presto! they are both working just fine but a bit slow but that because the Virtual Machine runs everything slower Like XP. My hundreds of hours are not wasted time. But I do agree that Intuit really dropped the ball on this one and left everyone hanging. When they have software out there being used they should keep it up to date for all their customers. The customers are the ones that make or break a company so if they want to make their customers happy KEEP IT UPDATED!
