I recently started a small online business. I want to keep track of my profits and expenses, but I’m pretty clumsy with numbers. I’ve heard good things about Quicken Home and Business, but it costs $90.
Is there any software out there on par with Quicken that’s ideal for small businesses and is free to download?

I don’t know how it compares to Quicken, but you can download free accounting software for business from Systems Online:

With a small online business, you will probably be fine using Quickbooks Simple Start program, which you can get new on Amazon starting at $44. Simple Start does not have all the features that Quickbooks Pro has, but that also makes it easier to use, and it will probably do everything that you need.

You can consider the free open source program GnuCash for a small business.
