One Response to “How do you convert Quicken data files from Windows to Mac?”

  1. It took me a long time to figure out that there’s no quick and easy way to do this. Intuit knows about the problem and had provided a work around. Basically you have to download a trial of the accountant’s version for windows, use it to convert the files and then transfer to your mac.

Complete instructions are on their support site at – http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/pages/knowledgebasearticle/1000522

Good luck, and remember to backup first!
