How Do I Quicken The Flash On My Digital Camera, And What Are All These Other Features Do?

My flash takes forever, how do i quicken it. My camera is a samsung digimax L60 and i’ve read the manual but have no luck decifering what it means. if anyone is camera savvy please help me!!!

  2. There is not much you can do to ‘quicken’ the flash…other than making sure the battery is fully charged before use.

    Make sure your flash is set to auto.

    According to the review (see link below)…the flash recharge time for your camera is approx. 4 seconds with a fully charged battery and 5 seconds with a low battery, which is fairly slow compared to other cameras.
    If you had an optical viewfinder, I would also suggest that you turn the LCD off to help conserve battery power, but your camera doesn’t have one.

    The only factor I can think of that may be causing a slow flash recharge is a semi-weak set of batteries. I’d switch to NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) if possible.
    Otherwise, it may just be the camera wasn’t designed to carge the flash very quickly. Older digital cameras have this problem.
